To celebrate the opening of the excursion train ride season on April 7-8, 2018, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park is offering FREE train rides behind their 1952 Baldwin Whitcomb No.1265 historic diesel locomotive all weekend long. With spring in full bloom experience spring wildflowers from aboard our special Wildflower Train Rides available on four weekend dates—April 21, 22, 28 & 29—and depart from the Depot promptly at 3 p.m. Arrive early! Tricks, Treats and Train Rides offers families a safe and fun trick or treat location and delightful, not frightful, Halloween activities. Hosted from 5 to 8 p.m., tickets include various candy stations, a magic show, theme crafts and games, and more.
